F.Kaberle to have surgery

Defenseman Frantisek Kaberle is likely to miss the first week of the Carolina Hurricanes' training camp after undergoing surgery to remove torn cartilage from his right knee.
According to Carolina GM Jim Rutherford, Kaberle was injured while at home in the Czech Republic.
