Center Michael Peca, who agreed to terms with the Blue Jackets on Tuesday, arrived in Columbus tonight and will undergo a physical Thursday morning in Nationwide Arena.
If Peca is cleared by the Blue Jackets' medical staff, his one-year contract with the club will become official.
NHL sources told The Dispatch that Peca will make a $1.3 million base salary with the Blue Jackets, but the deal could hit $1.9 million if all incentives are met.
Peca will get a $500,000 bonus if the Blue Jackets make the playoffs and he appears in 65 games. He'll get $50,000 if he plays in 40 games and an additional $50,000 if appears in 70 games
