Sens to shop Gerber

OTTAWA CITIZEN: Ken Warren reports Senators GM John Muckler will "certainly try" to trade goalie Martin Gerber to a team in need of goaltending, one that might discount Gerber's struggles early this past season as a mere blip on his resume. Gerber has two years and $7.4 million remaining on his contract, which Warren believes makes him an expensive gamble for a rival GM.
